What is a transit pass?

A transit pass is issued by the forest department for intra-state transportation of timber for non-exempted species as per the Forest Act.

How does the Timber Transit Pass System work?

An applicant registers in the system and applies for a transit pass. The application is processed by concerned officers, and after verification, the transit pass is issued. The applicant can download it from the 'Check Pass Status' option.

How to register on the website?

When can one apply for a No Objection Certificate?

An NOC is required for transporting exempted species as per Forest Department rules.

What documents are required for an NOC?

A valid photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, or Government ID) and details of the exempted timber species are required.

How to reset a forgotten password?

Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page, enter your registered email or mobile number, and follow the OTP verification process to set a new password.

When can vehicle details be entered? Are they mandatory?

Select 'Yes' to enter vehicle details like registration number, driver’s name, and license copy during application submission. It is not mandatory.

What mobile versions support the TIGRAM app?

The TIGRAM app supports Android versions 6 to 11.

What is a deemed approved application?

If not approved by the forest officer within 20 days after Revenue Department approval, the application is automatically approved by the system.

How to enter wood log details? Is it mandatory?

Click 'Yes' after 'Would you like to enter log Details?' and enter length, girth, and location coordinates. The system calculates volume automatically. It is not mandatory.

How to enter the latitude and longitude of the tree?

Click the location icon to open a map. Zoom or pan to set the coordinates, marked by a pin on the map.

How to exit from the application?

Click the 'Logout' button at the top-right on the website or tap the three-line menu on the mobile app and select 'Log out'.

In what formats can documents be attached on TIGRAM?

Documents can be attached in .jpg, .jpeg, or .png formats.
